he is simply amazing
i really love how he plays around with positive negative space
how the subject and its "shadow" is linked
like living VS dead
hee hee. im in love with his works
i dont think i'll be able to do 3D stuff like him
cause it requires some origami knowledge
which i have none
oh well

Hi Chiawei!
ReplyDeleteI thought you might be interested in this artist, Yulia Brodskaya. She works with paper as well, however in a different mannner, spiralling of it, creating three dimensional typography. There's not so much about carving the paper or positive-negative spaces, but it's still 3D and it shows how many different ways you can play with paper. Interesting!
